How Long is the Warranty on New Hondas?

Every new Honda car, truck, SUV, or minivan comes with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty that covers the vehicle for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the powertrain of the vehicle for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Should I Take My Car to the Dealership for Maintenance?

You should take your vehicle to the dealership for service and maintenance for several reasons. First, if your vehicle is under warranty that covers service benefits, then you will save on cost. The dealership also uses OEM (made by the manufacturer) parts and products, which are better for your vehicle than after-market parts and products.

How Often Should I Change the Oil in My Car?

Most non-exotic vehicles require an oil change every 5,000-8,000 miles. The variance depends on a few factors, such as the type of vehicle and the type of oil used.

What's the Difference Between Used and Certified Pre-Owned?

A used vehicle is a vehicle that's sold "as is" while a certified pre-owned vehicle must pass extensive testing and comes with an extended manufacturer's warranty. HondaTrue Certified vehicles get the New Vehicle Limited Warranty extended for up to five years or 86,000 miles, whichever occurs first and the Powertrain Warranty extended to seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

In addition, HondaTrue Certified vehicles offer Roadside Assistance, complimentary oil changes, Trip Interruption protection, and Concierge Service.
